ABOUT ME

Here at the Mike McNicholas State Farm agency, our office is filled with 5 licensed insurance professionals with over 35 years of insurance experience. We have been serving Springfield and all of Sangamon County since 2001 with auto insurance, homeowners insurance, renters insurance and life insurance needs.

*Mike McNicholas, Agent: Mike has been with State Farm since 1997.  He was raised in Springfield, father of two, Graduate of University of Illinois and past president of Springfield Insurance Association. He is a member of the Springfield Chamber of Commerce and the NFIB. Mike has coached multiple youth sports teams, volunteers as a CASA,and rarely plays golf.

*Cindy Todd-Office Manager: Cindy has over 14 years experience with State Farm.  Cindy is the youngest of 11 and has 3 kids of her own and has been married to Mark for 40 years.  Cindy is an excellent with billing, claims and specialty vehicles. She is our technology professional.  She also helps families with Life, health, home insurance and car insurance. 

*Dan Plunkett-Account Manager: Dan went to Pleasant Plains High School. He's a graduate of Southeastern Missouri State University where he majored in Marketing and was a multi-letter winner in track and cross country. Dan occasionally competes in races and is soon to be married.  Dan  works with new customers with life insurance,  auto, homeowners and renters insurance.

*Whitney Harry-Account Manager: Whitney graduated from Rochester High School and is completing her degree in marketing from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign.  Whitney manages our marketing efforts.  She helps our new customers with homeowners insurance, renters insurance, car insurance and helping those new to the Springfield area

*Bailey Downey-Customer Service Representative: Bailey helps with billing, claims, marketing and various needs of our customers. Bailey is a graduate of Illinois College in Jacksonville.  He enjoys golf, disc golf and the outdoors.  Bailey is also the resident mechanic and has the fastest 40 time of anyone in the office.
